Portrait existed in Atlanta, ga from 1996 until 2001. For many individuals, Portrait is one of the pioneers of the mid aughts screamo sound. Members went on to play in Airoes, Electrosleep International, Battlecat, The Gates of Berlin and The Constellations. Portrait were James Arnold, Scott McFarland, Jeph Burgoon, Daniel Fickle, Patrick Clarici and Susan Rose.
